The E3 Elbow CPM Device
More comfort, better alignment.
The E3 Elbow CPM is the latest innovation in design and features the option of PSR treatment – a second mode of operation that offers choice between traditional CPM and the new Progressive Stretch Relaxation mode.
PSR involves incremental stretching of the joint musculature to tolerate, allowing for greater soft tissue relaxation and elongation. PSR can effectively increase patient gain in Range of Motion (ROM).
Attached to the CPM stand with an adaptor kit to provide a lightweight, sturdy and stable base which is fully adjustable for treatment in either a chair or bed. The stand is easily moved on locking castors and is fully adjustable for height, elevation and rotation – making it ideal for hospital and clinic therapy sessions or home use.
E3 Features include:
- A fully programmable Range of Motion (ROM)
- Lock Out feature
- Compliance Monitor
- Adjustable Reverse-On-Load safety feature
- Warm-up feature
- Pause feature
- Variable settings for both speed and force
- Flexion/Extension and/or Pronation/Supination
Range of motion:
- -5° extension to 145° flexion
- Pronation: 80°
- Supination: 80°
- Rate of motion: 40° to 270° per minute
CPM Indications:
Immediate post-operative management after the following where indicated:
- Following arthrotomy and drainage of acute septic arthritis providing infection is controlled
- Crush injuries of hand without fractures or dislocations
- Burn injuries
- Stable fractures
- Flexor and extensor tendon tenolysis
- Synovectomy
- Reconstructive surgery of bone, cartilage, tendons and ligaments
- Prolonged joint immobilization
PSR Indications:
- Loss of ROM following immobilization for fracture
- Flexion-contraction due to repetitive trauma
- Adhesive capsulitis
- Adhesions following surgery
Required Accessories:
- E3 disposable patient kit
- Elbow CPM stand
The E2 Elbow CPM Device
The E2 Elbow CPM is a portable extremely lightweight CPM device that provides a range of motion for both the elbow and the forearm.
Rechargeable batteries allow the E2 to operate for up to 10 hours on a single charge – which means patients can be completely ambulatory during treatment. Batteries are rechargeable overnight without interruption to treatment.
The E2 provides simultaneous pronation and supination of the forearm while flexing and extending the elbow.
E2 Features include:
- Lightweight design – weighs only 2.5 kg (5 lbs.)
- Free Linkage design improves patient comfort
- Reverse-On-Load safety feature
- Easily adapted for use in bed or chair
Range of motion:
- Simultaneous pronation and supination of the forearm, while flexing and extending the elbow
Indications:
Immediate post-operative management after the following where indicated:
- Arthrotomy
- Stable fractures
- Synovectomy
- Reconstructive surgery on bone, cartilage, tendons and ligaments
- Prolonged joint immobilization
- Manipulation and joint replacement
